In addition to allowing immediate results, digital radiography allows examination of different densities in the same image. It has also allowed rapid transmission of images over the internet. Ultrasound
Digital ultrasound is a powerful tool but is a much more subjective imaging technique than radiology. A strong working knowledge of anatomy is required because only a small window of tissue is imaged at a time. Because it images in real time, ultrasound can be used to precisely image injections
All of our digital images are stored offsite with Asteris, a cloud storage company. From there the images can be sent anywhere with a few mouse clicks.
